Warranty Information:

Maximum Care Warranty covers most vehicle components (a total of 5,000)

7-Year/100,000-Mile Powertrain Limited Warranty(2)
Runs seven years from date vehicle was originally sold as new or 100,000 miles on odometer, which ever comes first. This covers a repair or replacement of most major powertrain components, including engine, transmission, and driveline.

6-Year/80,000-Mile Powertrain Limited Warranty(3)
Runs six years from date vehicle was originally sold as new or 80,000 miles on odometer (whichever comes first)
Covers repair or replacement of most major powertrain components, including transmission, engine and driveline

Lifetime Certified Upgrade Plans(4)
Now you can upgrade your 7-Year/100,000-Mile or 6-Year/80,000-Mile Powertrain Limited Warranty with a choice of three Lifetime Certified Upgrade Plans.

(3) Eligible vehicles include Chrysler, Jeep®, Dodge and Ram vehicles with an active 3-Month/3,000-Mile Maximum Care Limited Warranty, 6-Year/80,000-Mile or 7-Year/100,000-Mile CPOV Powertrain Limited Warranty with a maximum of 74,999 miles at the time of purchase. For Lifetime coverage beyond powertrain (Added Care Plus and Maximum Care plans), eligible vehicles must be within 36 months of the in-service date and a maximum 36,000 miles. Lifetime Certified Upgrade Plans exclude Dodge Viper and all SRT® vehicles, as well as vehicles used for police service, taxi, limousine, postal delivery or ambulance service. A deductible may apply. (4) Lifetime coverage is transferable ONLY in the states of Florida and North Carolina and the 7-Year/100,000-Mile (for 2010 model year and newer vehicles) or the 6-Year/80,000-Mile (for 2009 model year and earlier vehicles) Certified Pre-Owned Powertrain Limited Warranty must be transferred in tandem with the Lifetime Warranty.

Ford Certified Pre-Owned

Before buying a certified pre-owned vehicle, read about the Certified Pre-Owned Program offered by Ford. This will explain the warranty program for the manufacturer, an explanation of what a CPO vehicle is and other benefits you can expect from this program.

To be considered as a certified pre-owned vehicle, Ford says it must be 6 model years or newer and have less than 80,000 miles on the odometer.

Each vehicle must pass a meticulous 169 point-by-point inspection by one of our Ford factory-trained technicians. Only those vehicles that pass this strict inspection will become Ford Certified Pre-Owned vehicles.

We also put each Ford Certified Pre-Owned vehicle through a comprehensive mechanical reconditioning process during certification. To make sure the highest standard of quality is met, only new, Genuine Ford, Motorcraft® or Ford-authorized replacement parts are used.

The 169-point inspection is divided into these different areas:

Vehicle History, Road Test, Vehicle Exterior, Vehicle Interior, Vehicle Diagnostics, Underhood, Hybrid, Underbody

Roadside Assistance - Complimentary Roadside Assistance is provided for the duration of our powertrain limited warranty coverage. This means you are automatically covered for 6 years or 100,000 miles from the original in-service date. You are covered 24 hours a day, seven days a week in case of breakdown, blowout, bad weather or other situations.
